Markus Murmann is honoured in Crans-Montana
Markus Murmann, who has been race director for the World Cup for 17 years, was honoured this Friday, on the eve of the 2023 Women's World Cup races. Having served as director for 35 elite races on the Haut-Plateau, the local from Upper Valais retired after last season's races. "He worked tirelessly, and was much appreciated, and we thank him for his hard work over the years," said Marius Robyr. The president of the Organising Committee presented Markus Murmann with a carved wooden fox to thank him for his commitment to the Valais races.
