First training cancelled, but the forecast is optimistic

No training this Thursday. In order to preserve the piste, the first downhill training session in Crans-Montana was cancelled. A thin layer of snow fell during the night, forcing the organisers to work on the piste. A timed test is still scheduled for Friday morning.

The competitors did however have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Mont Lachaux piste at the inspection, where they were able to see the new course, as some modifications have been made to the track.

The weather forecast for the weekend is favourable. Cold weather is expected to return to the Haut-Plateau, which should mean magnificent races on Saturday and Sunday.
