The night slalom will take place without spectators (due to COVID-19)
Qualification and format of the event
The men’s night slalom in Crans-Montana, which will take place on the spectacular Mont Lachaux/Nationale slalom course, will have a maximum of 25 participants.
The first 20 competitors on the WCSL« World Cup Slalom » list are automatically invited. If not all the places are used by them, they will be supplemented by other competitors on the same list.
Training sessions are scheduled for Monday 28th December.
The format of the race* is as follows :
- Start list is established according to WCSL points :
- Draw for race numbers 1-7 and 8-15 ;
- Race numbers 15 to 25, according to WCSL points (if no WCSL points, according to FIS points).
- After each round, the 5 athletes with the worst times are eliminated. In the final, there will be five left to compete for the attractive prize money.
- No protest is possible.
