With just a few days to go to the kick-off of the European Cup (19/20 February) and World Cup (24-26 February) events, as is the tradition, Marius Robyr, president of the Organising Committee for Alpine Skiing races in Crans-Montana, invited department heads and their assistants to an information session for a last briefing.
The Swiss Ski C Category athletes are currently training on the Mont Lachaux piste, which is in very good condition. Marius Robyr confirmed that he was satisfied with the progress of work in all sectors - Crans-Montana is ready. Some 500 motivated people - from the Organising Committee to the military, the PCi to volunteers - are ready. Team spirit is important: one for all, and all for one.
We now just have to cross our fingers and hope that the weather doesn't spoil things for this rematch of the St. Moritz Worlds, at what promises to be a great celebration of skiing.
