The henceforth annual hosts of the FIS World Cup Ladies, 2016 opens up a new chapter in the great Alpine skiing tradition in Crans-Montana, a promising new era. Being attributed a « Classic » competition by the International Ski Federation FIS, the race organisers of the Ladies Alpine skiing World Cup in Crans-Montana took advantage of the occasion to adopt an authentic visual identity. Modern, simple and with clean lines, this identity aims to attract the public as of its first glance; and it can be adapted to various communication tools. Road signs, totems, flyers, posters, official programmes, various documents, etc. are the first to benefit. As a few new touches of this identity are already on our website, it will achieve its complete new look by next spring.
With a dark blue bakckdrop, and blue triangles nestled into one another, referring to the mountains, snow and the cold, touches of fuschia give it a feminine aspect.
A new identity indeed, but who created it?
The Barras-Enseignes company in Chermignon, an appreciated partner of the Organising Committee of the Crans-Montana competition since 2008, just developed a section called "Visual Communication" in its organisation, with the goal of offering a complete service to its customers.
The theme of the new graphic line was used for a "test" in the selection of a new graphist. Amongst the more than ten offers, this is the one that captured the attention of the people in charge of the Organising Committee. Congratulations to Ralph Barras and to all of his team. A big "thank you" for all of your commitment.
