The Crans-Montana piste is ready to host the first training session for the World Cup downhill races on Thursday. Markus Murmann and Patrice Morisod take stock of the situation.
The Mont Lachaux piste, known as one of the most difficult on the circuit, will once again be the star of the White Circus in Valais this weekend. Although weather conditions haven’t made the organisers’ task an easy one, their hard work has ensured that an excellent course has been prepared. However the course will be slightly less demanding than in previous years, in order to protect the athletes’ health, as they have just returned from the Olympic Games in China.
