Despite the spring temperatures, the Mont Lachaux piste is in excellent condition and is ready to welcome the World Cup races this weekend. On another note, the organisation committee is paying tribute to the patroller who died in an avalanche in the ski area.
As well as being dedicated to the first training session for the Crans-Montana Downhill, Thursday is also a day of reflection. The World Cup organisation committee is therefore joining the whole of the ski area to observe a day of mourning. The committee president, Marius Robyr, looks back on this tragic accident in detail.
