A colourful show at the Ycoor ice rink
Crans-Montana is not just the organiser of top-class World Cup races, it also offers a diverse and spectacular programme right through from Friday to Sunday. Fans are sure to be just as delighted off the pistes, whether they’re at the celebrations at the Ycoor ice rink or the Violettes car park. The resort was buzzing on Friday evening, as more and more people made their way to the ice rink an hour before the bib draw.
The entertainment programme also included the Ramdam team and their spectacular bike show. This was a nod to the many cycling events that will be taking place in Crans-Montana soon, with the Swiss and World Mountain Bike Championships, and the arrival of a stage of the Giro d'Italia.
Even before the top ten downhill racers took to the stage via a zip-line, the newly-crowned downhill world champion Jasmine Flury was honoured by Marius Robyr, when the president of the World Cup Race Organising Committee presented her with a
a beautiful bell dedicated to her.
The evening on the Ycoor ice rink ended with a spectacular pyrotechnic performance by Tristan Herry.
