Once again in 2019, their 22^ndyearas a group, Oesch’s die Dritten have once again been in incredible demand both in Switzerland and abroad. They have enjoyed over 200 television appearances, and over 1,600 concerts in 14 countries ! Their Swiss « Globetrotter » tour in Spring 2019 was an incredible success. They performed to packed venues on every stop of the tour. Melanie Oesch : « The term Globetrotter has given us total musical and narrative freedom. We like to include some of our personal history and experiences in our concerts, sharing them with our faithful audiences ».

The folk music group Les Amis de Sonville will also be present

The Valais folk music group Les Amis de Sonville will also be present. They will be warming up the crowd before the Oesch’s die Dritten concert with their music which has sprung from the local area, and which invites the audience to dance. For many years now, at all of their concerts, these musicians from Nendaz, who are all related, guarantee a tradition of pure folk music. Their presence at the « Maison Suisse » in Sestrières during the 2006 Turin Olympics, and their musical journey to Quebec have been remembered ever since. After the great success of their performance on the RTS programme Kiosque à Musique and during the 2019 Federal Folk Music Festival in Crans-Montana, Les Amis de Sonville will once again be returning to the Haut-Plateau.

Amis de Sonville new
