Traffic & Parking
As the World Cup races will be held during a highly frequented
period in Crans-Montana, the parking of additional vehicles will be
a problem. Please read carefully the information here below. Thank
you!
- To the residents of the High Plateau
We kindly ask you not to use your own vehicle. All the parkings and
certain roads are closed*, except for holders of specific
permission:
* Carrefour de l'Etoile - Aminona
* Noctambules - Cervin
* On Saturday 25 February from 13.h00, the center of Montana is
also closed for traffic.
Please use the public transportation free of
charge. Attention: no service from/to Aminona
Shuttle bus from the Albert 1 to Vermala
- To the residents of the surrounding
villages
We kindly ask you to use public transportation or park your
vehicles at the following locations:
- Parking des Fougirs, Chermignon
- Parking de la Scie, Lens
- Parking des Palettes, Bluche
From here use thefreeshuttle bus.
Schedule: Saturday 08.00 - 10.50 / Sunday 07.00 - 09.30
NB: Return rides to the parkings Fougirs and Scie start at
the scholar center of Crans-Montana, for Les Palettes at the
cablecar station. Schedule: 15.00 - 22.00

- To the residents of the valley
We kindly ask you to use public transportation. From Sierre*
free ride on the cablecar SMC, then a 15 minutes
walk to the finish area of the Piste Nationale. Return idem.
*It is possible to purchase admission tickets at the cablecar
station

We kindly ask you to park your vehicles in Sierre on the ancient
road T9 (Sierre - Loèche, follow the signalisation), then use the
free shuttle bus.
Schedule: Saturday 07.30 - 09.40 / Sunday 06.10 - 08.20
Return:
- After the race shuttle service from Les Violettes to the parking
T9
- Saturday from 18.45 - 22.15, cablecar to Sierre, then shuttle bus
to the parking T9
- Arrival by train (-> Sierre)
Free cablecar transport, then a 15 minutes walk to
the finish area of the Piste Nationale

- Spectators on skis
Please use the telecabine Crans-Cry d'Err or Grand Signal
to access the Piste Nationale and the spectators' areas along the
race course (Chalet Vocat / Oulès).
- Transport by helicopter
From Sion and Turtmann directly next to the course by
helicopter.

- Spectators in wheelchairs
In the finish area of the Piste Nationale there is a specially
designated sector for spectators in wheelchairs.
