This is it! All of the hard work has paid off! After being absent from the White Circus for several years, Crans-Montana has put a lot of effort into regaining its rightful place. Since 2008, Women's World Cups, Men's European Cups, European Cup finals, Junior World Championships and other FIS courses have been held every year on our slopes.

I have the extreme pleasure in announcing that Crans-Montana will host 3 Men's World Cup races, two Super-G (one of them is the one cancelled in Kitzbühel/AUT) and a Giant Slalom, on 24, 25 & 26 February. Although the set dates are during one of the busiest times of the season, it is delightful to note that all of the actors in the resort agree to play the part and in the name of the Organising Committee I can honestly express from the bottom of my heart a most sincere, THANK YOU!  The saying "when one is convinced that there are only solutions, not problems" has been applied by everyone! BRAVO!

This return of the men's races is also synonymous with enormous responsibilities.  The Men's World Cup races, very demanding from a technical point as well as the logistics involved, but so rewarding with a huge following of spectators, increased media presence and the lasting tourist attraction.

The mythical National ski slope, worthy of the greatest champions, will offer for 2 complete days the admiration it deserves. Crans-Montana is looking forward to welcoming them.  It will be a week-end like no other at the end of February on the plateau, and in the entire canton of Valais.  Everything will be organized so that the National ski run will live up to its reputation and satisfy not only the athletes, but the numerous on site spectators.

To all of the teams, the media representatives, the sponsors, all of our guests and spectators I wish you the warmest of welcomes. To the athletes and their entourage I wish you complete success.

To everyone I wish you a memorable and magnificent skiing event in Crans-Montana.

Marius Robyr, Organising Committee President
